2006 Jamba Juice Banana Man Chase 5K

Here's how I trained for the 2006 Jamba Juice Banana Man Chase 5K. It was an interesting race--a bunch of people in banana costumes started about a minute before the rest of us. The first 3 people who finished after passing the bananas won a year's supply of Jamba Juice! My goal was to finish in under 18:36. This was my first time running the race, so I wasn't sure what the route would be like or anything. I finished in 18:33. I was 25th overall, and 9th in my age division (30-39--a bunch of fast guys!). And I passed all but one banana guy.

Note: The decimal places are seconds, not hundredths of minutes. It was too hard to figure out how to do seconds in Excel (of course, what do you expect from Microsoft products?). So, for example, if you see 20.50, that means 20 minutes and 50 seconds, and not 20 minutes and 30 seconds.
